Adolf Hitler's toilet seat is to be sold at auction and is expected to fetch 15,000 pounds (133,000 yuan), according to British media.
The toilet seat came from Hitler's holiday home in Bavaria and was taken by US soldier Ragnvald Borch during World War II, The Sun reported on Feb 1st. Borch had ransacked Hitler's private bathroom with the permission of senior military officers.
When Birch returned to his home in New Jersey, he put the toilet seat on display in his basement.He and his family recently decided to put the toilet seat up for sale at an auction in Chesapeake, Maryland.The auction will take place next week.
Bill Panagopulos, of Alexander Auctions, said: "This is the closest thing we have to a dictator and is one of the most striking objects in the World War II collection."
